Chelsea midfielder Jorginho: Maurizio Sarri joining Juventus a 'betrayal' for Napoli fans

Chelsea duo Jorginho and Emerson Palmieri have urged Maurizio Sarri to stay at Stamford Bridge, with the former admitting a move to Juventus would be seen as a betrayal by Napoli fans.
Sarri has travelled back to his homeland to negotiate a deal with Juve, who are seeking a replacement for Massimiliano Allegri, who they sacked last week.
Sarri endured a difficult first season at Chelsea and, indeed, in the Premier League but overcame his many ups and downs to lead the Blues to a third-placed finish in the top-flight in addition to Europa League glory.
Jorginho, who arrived at Stamford Bridge from Napoli along with Sarri last summer, admits the Italian coach's departure would represent a huge blow because of the impact he made in his debut campaign in England.
At a press conference to preview Italy's upcoming Euro 2020 qualifier against Greece, Jorginho said: "It would be sad because I think [Sarri] did a good job.

"We finished third in the Premier League, we won the Europa League and we reached the EFL Cup Final despite all the critics.
"It was a good first season in Chelsea. It would be sad for everyone.
"The Napoli fans still have him in their hearts; it's normal that they could get angry. They could treat it as a betrayal; they're like that. We'll see what happens."

Emerson, who also spoke at the press conference, added: "It's difficult to talk about that. I think he had - and we had - a good season.
"It's not been easy, but he has to stay at Chelsea. Never say never in football, though. We have to keep on doing our job."
